The highlight of a visit to Ste-Mère-Eglise is the Museum of Airborne Troops. Exhibits are housed in two giant parachute shaped buildings. The display includes a Douglas C47 aircraft and a WACO glider. The museum has a website that gives historical background information on the battle for Sainte-Mère-Eglise as well as some useful links.
